Something new is coming. It will be here in the next few weeks.

A Change of Seasons[ November 21st, 2009 ]

I just uploaded two new soundtrack pieces, as well as added a design section to my website. If you would like more frequent updates, feel free to add me on MySpace or Facebook.

Current Body of Work

My overall goal when writing soundtracks is to bring as much emotion to the project as possible. I try to convey drama and emotion through the use of music that someone can still listen to outside of the film or game world. The following pieces are arranged from most recent to oldest.

  • I wrote this piece in a few hours, and then spent the next couple of days tweaking it. The final outcome is, to me, rather impressive.

  • This short piece is intended as a quick action sequence for a first person shooter.

  • This all-orchestral piece is my first experience with one of my new favorite orchestra synths. This song was meticulously crafted over the course of a few days, and demonstrates my ability to create life-like pieces with very minimal equipment.

  • Written with a fast-paced first-person shooter in mind, this song is actually a mix of three distinct themes: A heart-pounding industrial "crash" introduction, a smooth techno-orchestral theme, and a rock inspired "encounter" theme.

  • Written over the course of a few weeks, this song portrays a massive sea battle that erupts at the base of sacred temple.

  • Almost Heroes (Featured in a TV spot by Rizon Films)

A powerful piece that embodies my style of composition: blending symphonic, rock, and industrial themes.

  • This sci-fi inspired score is actually one of the oldest pieces in the current collection. Very futuristic and very Metroid-ish.

  • Written with the alternate creation of mankind in mind, this piece portrays a factory or genetic labratory, fully orchestrated with a touch of industry.

  • This symphonic piece explores an RPG-styled theme to bring about two distinct moods: Triumph and sorrow. As the piece progresses, the listener experiences the various changes in mood throughout the story.
